The Brewerton Fringe Show is 12 episodes made for TV on the internet by local film makers. The show is made up of acts and interviews of people involved in the arts and the show covers areas across the South West.

On May 24th the show came to The Commonweal School and filmed episode nine in the dance studio.

“This is a very good venue as there is black out, staging and lighting,” commented Rob Perrett who helps to present and is also the show’s director. “I used to go to Commonweal, it’s like coming back home, “ he added.

School band The Frosted Teacakes and the Commonweal Fab Four performed alongside Corybantis a band with a Latin American feel and anti folk singer/songwriter Tom Masso. Josie Williams, the school’s community arts development officer was interviewed about her role in school and how it interacts with the wider community.

“This was a great opportunity for our school to let people know what goes on here and more importantly to give the students who took part the chance to experience a professional TV company in action.
