Moonfleet by Angel Exit Theatre

We were very lucky to have Angel Exit Theatre Co in school in September to deliver drama workshops to our GCSE Yr 10 & 11. These covered techniques relating to Physical Theatre and Miss Birkbeck, Head of Drama commented that the delivery was excellent and she herself has picked up some great ideas!

On the Saturday evening the students and staff went to the Arts Centre in Swindon to watch the companies latest production which is an adaptation of the book Moonfleet by John Meade Falkner. It was a small audience of about a 100, 64 of which were from Commonweal! This is another example of the school supporting the arts and the local economy. The students enjoyed this atmospheric play and were then asked to write a review for their GCSE coursework.
