Maths Dance Project

In order to help kinesthetic learners to understand fundamentals of maths concepts we are investigating ways for students to learn through the medium of dance.

This pilot project is being put together by our dance specialist and maths department with the aim of giving students a visual and physical experience before they go back into the classroom. It is early days yet and lessons delivery is being analysis ed and further strategies put in place.

Commonweal, means for the common good, and we are committed to making sure all students get a fair chance irrespective of ability.

I for one didn't find maths easy, but way back then the teachers just shouted louder, thank goodness times have changed!
