Music Technology

During the week the children explored two different software music programmes that were used to create their own music on computer. They composed various short pieces of music using lots of musical styles as a stimulus including world music, club music and film music. They also learnt School Rocks, written by Nick Weaver, which the children performed at the sharing event on Friday. Thanks to Sam Cantlon for being an excellent assistant tutor.

"It was good that James was able to come home with a CD and a manuscript to show us what he had been working on. He was very interested in what was covered in lessons.
