Little Shop Of Horrors

Heartfelt thanks to Ali Sutcliffe, Helen Clements, Nick Weaver, the cast and all who helped to make our summer production an outstanding success! Students from all years, including the Yr 6 dance club worked hard to bring this rather odd musical to life. I don’t think we’ll ever turn our backs on house plants again!

The show was staged over three nights and a matinee performance was given to our Yr 6 feeder schools and residents of the Cheriton Nursing Home in Westlecot Road.

The set was designed by international muralist Ken White who worked with students and staff.

Little Shop of Horrors Reviews

“My daughter and myself thoroughly enjoyed the Little Shop of Horrors, the songs , acting, humour and costumes were brilliant. I considered it professional enough to show at the Wyvern! We look forward to next years production!” Best Regards, Sharon Hall.

“Little Shop of Horrors was a huge success; all the students involved performed excellently and worked really hard to create a successful show. There were many students involved in the technical crew who were very professional and took their roles very seriously. Without their support, we would not have had help with the lights, sound and backstage crew so a big thank you goes out to them.” Helen Clements, music teacher.

“What a fantastic vibrate professional show our school put on. A most enjoyable evening.” Sherry Lambdon

“Truly an excellent show- EVERYONE gave 110%!” Heather Harris

“I just wanted to congratulate you all on such a great performance of Little Shop of Horrors last week.  I came along to the Thursday night performance and was blown away by the talent of the students, and the efforts put in by teachers!  The music/band was note perfect, once the singers got more into the show their voices were strong, and the choreography was great!  The set was of high quality, I really liked the video footage link (very amusing!), and of course the lighting completed it all!  A fantastic combination of talented students and hard working staff!!  Please do pass on my congrats to students too. “ Emma Jackson, Extended Services Coordinator for the Commonweal Cluster Schools.

“Staging Little Shop Of Horrors was no mean feat and it took an awful lot time and effort from both staff and students. Stress levels were high during the final 3 weeks but it was definatley worth the effort. The four performances went exceptionally well and the students should be incrediably proud of what they achieved.” Mrs Sutcliffe, head of music.
