Our latest compilation album featuring original material from students past, present and future and Commonweal staff was released at the Old Town Festival in June. This eclectic mix boasts 23 tracks and is available from the school's Admin Office during school hours, priced £3.99.
The album contains a song from Holly Partridge band The Shebeats. Holly is an ex student and she her talents undoubtedly come from her dad Andy of XTC fame. They are a superb band and if you haven't seen them, then put it in your diary next time you see them advertise! Also on the ex front is newly fledged ex Commonwealians Steamin' Nina who are just going from strength to strength. Cat Wild, who left the school a few years ago, is featured with her band Sweet Plums who are a fun festival type band. Robert Le Kyng's school choir and indeed Commonweal's school choir add their ambience along with a plethora of talent.
Thanks to Nick Weaver, the school's tech man for recording most of the album. We look forward to the next one!
