The Music Department is very active in the community and are always in demand for performances. Our reputation for delivering high quality music in the community has never been stronger. The music department give 110% and are very popular members of staff with the students. Clubs run every lunchtime and feed into events in the community. Music Clubs

String Club is on a Monday lunchtime and is open to all years.

Yr 7 Junior Choir meet on a Tuesday lunch time.

Concert Band meet on a Wednesday lunch time.

Chamber Choir meet every Wednesday after school.

Senior Choir, Yrs 8 - 11, meet every Thursday lunch time.

Music Theory Club, all years, meet every Friday lunch time.

Concert Band meet Wk A after school on a Friday.

The new term starts with a Celebration Evening on Thursday 15th September to celebrate our Outstanding Ofsted report and also our conversion to Academy status.

17th September see a selection of music students performing at Christ Church Autumn Fair. Music students will perform at the Mayor's fund raising concert in Stratton on 30th September. The department will also contribute to the Evening of Entertainment staged at the school on 23rd & 24th November.

There will be carol singing concert in Bath Road Methodist Church on 12th December. The Community Carol Singing Tour which visits old people's homes and Tesco, is planned for 14th December. There are Carols in the Gym on 15th December. Finally our Christmas carols finish with the Community Carol Singing in your street on 21st December. Proceeds to the Prospect Hospice.
