As part of our transition outreach objectives Yr 6 pupils (age 10 and 11 years) from all our feeder schools were invited to come up to Commonweal to taker part in an after school art club.

Led by our artist in residence Tracey Baker-Stewart the theme for the first class was the plight of the bumble bee. This is also the theme for our cluster wide carnival project for the Old Town Festival, co-ordinated by Emma Jackson, Extended Schools, Commonweal cluster and Josie Williams, Communtiy Arts Development Officer at Commonweal.
