Performing Futures
A unique opportunity to explore careers opportunities was staged at the Wyvern Theatre on Wednesday January 18th. Entitled Performing Futures, a partnership between Theatreworks and Swindon Dance, students had the chance to explore a wide range of careers options within the performing arts industry:

You could kiss good bye to plastic carrier bags and paper hand outs this was very much a hands on experience! The afternoon included:

• Practical group sessions led by professionals in areas such as performing, directing, lighting and sound production, set design, marketing and producing.

• One to one with local and regional professional theatre and dance organisations, companies and training providers and development agencies.

• The chance to meet like minded people who have the same enthusiasm for working in the performing arts.
