It was the World Cup but not as we know it! 16 enthusiastic students presented there very first Street Theatre piece in Godwin Court on Saturday June 24th. This was a Connect 4 production.

Prior to the performance the students worked with internationally famous Street Theatre performer Mark Bishop of Big State and The Natural Theatre companies.

“I was really impressed by the young people who had vast amounts of ideas. I did a number of exercises to get them working collectively before they created and developed their own characters. It was a pleasure to work with a bunch of enthusiastic, well mannered and focused students.” Mark commented.

On Sunday July 2nd students performed in the Town Gardens. The first event was a selection of music and dance staged in the bowl and the second event was bands and vocalists in the band stand. Many thanks to the Music Dept., students and all staff who helped out.
