Swindon Dance Education & Access gave the school the opportunity to offer students the chance to watch a performance and take part in an exciting dance workshop. 78 students ( 50 boys and 28 girls from across the year groups) were given the opportunity to work with Banxy and Joey D, two of the UK’s finest Hip –Hop dance artists.

Banxy and Joey D are currently touring Doctor Octogun, a dynamic hip-hop homage to 1950’s B-Movies and the Classic Monster mythology of Marvel Comics. The twenty minute performance is especially designed for schools as an ideal teaching resources for KS2 and KS3 dance/drama work. A resource pack has been given to the schools dance teachers.

Following the workshops and performance students were given the opportunity to enter into discussions to further enhance their knowledge of the art form.
